510 - Art Therapy Research: Qualitative Methods

Students will be introduced to the field of art therapy research and explore what it means to be a researcher. They will also learn about the importance of developing case studies as a research method in art therapy. Students will be oriented towards the spectrum of qualitative methodologies and explore issues related to conducting art therapy research. There will be a focus on developing critical thinking skills in research and preparing for the submission of a thesis or capstone project proposal.
