These are the pieces that make me whole: Reclaiming mind, body, land, and spirit through a Métis woman’s journey of art therapy
Within these pages you will find a Métis woman’s journey into becoming and being through poetry and creative offerings intended to connect a person’s inner and outer landscapes rooted in a western model of art therapy. This book has been more of an unfolding than a creating. Through auto-ethnography, storytelling, poetic inquiry, spontaneous art-making, unknowing, self-reflection, and the open creative exploration and expression, I invite you as the reader to reflect on different aspects of my personal art therapy journey and use these experiences to relate to an eco-philosophical Indigenous worldview to re-connect mind, body, land, and spirit.
