Fundraising Collaboration with Kootenay Co-op

For over 25 years, Kutenai Art Therapy Institute (KATI) has been providing art-making opportunities for the local community, cultivating spaces of collective care and support. Every year, KATI offers thousands of hours of free or by-donation art therapy services, including the beloved weekly Open Studios for the community.

Today, we are delighted to announce a partnership with one of our local grocery stores, the Kootenay Co-op. The Co-op has graciously offered us an amazing fundraising opportunity. Through this collaboration, KATI will receive a 7% return on all purchases made through the Kootenay Co-op grocery card program. For every $100 spent grocery shopping $7 will go directly to KATI. This initiative will provide crucial financial support for KATI’s community-based programming.

The beauty of this program is that you can support KATI without any additional cost to you. If you shop at the Co-op, you simply buy the groceries that you need using the cards you've purchased.

Here is how it works. You pre-pay KATI for a Co-op grocery card by e-transfer and then pick up your card from KATI. We will send you details about the program once you subscribe and let you know when your grocery cards are ready to be picked up at our campus location (191 Baker Street).

Another great way to support the program is to encourage friends, family, and colleagues to participate. The more people involved, the greater the impact we can make together. Please feel free to share the link!
